Preparation

Application
  • Adhesives should only be applied to the surface, never to the fabric.
  • This is a directional fabric. Hang each strip in the same direction to avoid color differences caused by pile directional changes.
  • If using a roller, apply a light coat of adhesive to the surface to avoid bleed through to the face of the fabric. Adhesive may also be brushed or sprayed onto the surface.
  • White glues with a high viscosity (liquidity) should be allowed set-up time before applying fabric to avoid bleed through. You may want to use tacks to hold fabric in place. Allow applied fabric 24 hours to cure.

Installation Alerts or other Miscellaneous Information
  • Mineral based adhesives are not recommended for unventilated areas in offices, museums, showrooms, etc.
  • Remove excess adhesive immediately after each seam is completed using a water dampened sponge, if applicable.
